Role Description

The Residential Audio/Video (AV) Installation Specialist

Jobs are located throughout the Denver metro area and Front Range. The technician will report to the office and drive a company work van to job sites.

Day-to-day responsibilities include reading and interpreting system layouts, working with tools and hardware, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring clean, safe, and compliant installations. The Installation Specialist will interact with clients on-site, provide basic system demonstrations, and coordinate with project managers and team members to complete projects on schedule.

The role also involves maintaining installation documentation, adhering to company standards, and properly caring for tools, vehicles, and equipment.

Compensation & Benefits

• Target compensation: $20-$25 per hour
• Up to $30 per hour for an exceptional, highly experienced technician

Ideal Candidate

The company is specifically looking for a local installer who can reliably commute to the Arvada office and travel throughout the metro area and Front Range.

The ideal candidate will be a highly skilled, dependable "rockstar" technician who can take ownership of installations and help reduce the owner's time in the field, allowing greater focus on sales and company growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience installing audio and video systems, including wiring, mounting displays, speakers, and related hardware.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, system diagrams, and installation instructions.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for AV equipment, connectivity, and configuration issues.
• Comfortable working with power tools, ladders, and varied on-site environments while following safety procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the office.
• Ability to travel to job sites throughout the Denver metro area and Front Range using the company work van.
• Prior experience in AV installation, electrical, low-voltage, or related technical fields is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certifications in AV or low-voltage systems are a plus.
