Arning Companies, Inc. is seeking an Installation Project Manager to lead installation projects from turnover through completion.

You will serve as the primary liaison among customers, subcontracted installers, equipment vendors, field staff, and internal teams, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and adherence to company standards. Key responsibilities include coordinating installation schedules, subcontractor management, equipment rentals, documentation, and closeout activities.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in project management, project coordination, construction management, installation management, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, and field operations preferred.
  • Experience with equipment rentals, project scheduling, and construction logistics preferred.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, installation plans, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Manage installation projects from turnover through completion.
  • Review drawings, specifications, scope documents, and project readiness prior to field mobilization.
  • Develop and maintain installation schedules, project timelines, logistics, equipment needs, and resource plans.
  • Confirm subcontracted installers understand project scope, site conditions, safety requirements, and installation expectations before work begins.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontracted installers throughout project execution.
  • Coordinate equipment rentals required for project execution.
  • Create and manage purchase orders for equipment rental vendors and installation-related services.
  • Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, and returns to support project timelines.
  • Collect, review, and track required installation documentation, including safety paperwork, daily reports, photos, punch lists, and closeout documents.
  • Maintain accurate project records and installation files.
  • Ensure project information is documented and shared with appropriate internal teams.
  • Schedule, coordinate, and track installation deducts and corrective field work.
  • Communicate deduct requirements and scheduling needs with installers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor deduct progress through completion and maintain accurate open and closed deduct reporting.
  • Provide regular project status updates to customers, subcontractors, vendors, field personnel, and internal departments.
  • Communicate schedule changes, risks, and project concerns in a timely manner.
  • Support project closeout activities and confirm customer requirements have been satisfied.
  • Monitor installation progress, identify potential risks, and coordinate timely solutions.
  • Promote compliance with company safety standards, quality expectations, and project requirements.
  • Identify recurring installation issues and support process improvements and best practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and project reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Subcontractor Management

Rental Equipment & Procurement
  • Coordinate equipment rentals required for project execution.

  • Schedule equipment deliveries, pickups, and returns to supportproject timelines.
  • Monitor rental utilization and coordinate adjustments as projectrequirements change.
Documentation & Administrative Support
  • Collect, review, and trackrequired installation documentation, including safety paperwork, daily reports,photos, punch lists, and closeout documents.
  • Maintain accurate projectrecords and installation files.
  • Ensure project informationis documented and shared with appropriate internal teams.
