Job summary

Leidos is seeking Outreach Assistants to support Military OneSource events on an as-needed basis. The role requires US citizenship, base access, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

The Outreach Assistant will represent the program at installations and educate service members and families about available resources. Primary duties include serving as a subject matter expert, coordinating outreach activities, maintaining displays, and reporting outreach outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum two years of customer service, outreach, or community engagement.
• Knowledge of military culture and family dynamics.
• Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain professionalism in public settings.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Leidos Military OneSource program at installation and community outreach events.
• Educate Service members, families, leadership, and providers on resources and services.
• Conduct community capacity-building activities and educate providers on program resources.
• Identify approved family programs and resources for the community resource finder.
• Document outreach efforts and report gaps to inform improvements.
• Set up and manage displays and outreach booths per event requirements.
• Engage stakeholders in conversations to raise awareness of services.
