# Installation ManagerHot Job400 CROSSWAYS PARK DRIVE - WOODBURY, NY 11787## OverviewSalary Range$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 Salary/year## Description**Work Allocation: Approximately 80% Field / 20% Office****Position Overview:**The Installation Manager oversees the scheduling, supervision, development, and performance of HVAC installation personnel. This role ensures crews are properly staffed, trained, equipped, and assigned to projects while maintaining high standards of productivity, workmanship, safety, and professionalism. The Installation Manager works closely with Project Managers and Operations leadership to coordinate manpower and support successful project execution. **Essential Job Functions:**Workforce Management & Scheduling* Supervise installation technicians, mechanics, apprentices, and field personnel.* Develop and manage daily and weekly manpower schedules and crew assignments.* Coordinate staffing requirements with Project Managers and Operations leadership.* Ensure crews have the necessary tools, equipment, materials, and information to perform their work efficiently.* Monitor attendance, productivity, labor utilization, and workforce needs.Leadership & Employee Development* Provide coaching, training, performance feedback, and accountability.* Support recruiting, onboarding, employee development, and retention.* Identify training needs and opportunities for employee advancement.* Address employee performance, conduct, and reliability concerns.Quality, Safety & Field Oversight* Conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor workmanship, productivity, and safety compliance.* Enforce company safety policies, PPE requirements, and professional conduct standards.* Identify and address workmanship deficiencies, unsafe conditions, and performance concerns.* Promote quality installations, efficient labor utilization, and reduced rework.Communication & Coordination* Serve as the primary liaison between installation crews, Project Managers, and office personnel.* Communicate staffing shortages, scheduling conflicts, project concerns, and resource needs.* Maintain accurate workforce schedules, employee documentation, and departmental reporting.**Qualifications:*** 7+ years of HVAC installation or mechanical construction experience preferred.* Previous experience supervising installation crews or field personnel preferred.* Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, installation practices, and construction drawings.* Proven ability to manage manpower, schedules, employee performance, and competing priorities.* Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.* Basic proficiency with email, scheduling software, and project documentation.* Valid driver's license and ability to travel to assigned jobsites.**Physical Demands & Work Environment**## Ability to travel to and navigate active construction sites, stand, walk, climb stairs, work in varying environmental conditions, and wear required PPE.
