Job summary

LHH is seeking an experienced Module Installation Supervisor in the United States (Austin, TX) to lead modular installation activities for large data center projects. You will oversee movement, preparation, lifting, connection and installation of prefabricated modules, ensuring alignment with schedules, quality, and safety.

Responsibilities include coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, developing installation plans, managing crews, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining OSHA

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in construction, modular installation, manufacturing operations, or field operations.
  • Leadership experience supervising installation crews or subcontractors.
  • Strong understanding of lifting, rigging, cranes, and logistics.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in fast-paced projects.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and hazard mitigation.
  • Experience with modular construction, DfMA, prefabrication, or data centers is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with construction management, engineering, supply chain, and subcontractors to ensure project delivery.
  • Develop installation plans covering manpower, equipment, lifting requirements, safety controls, and scheduling.
  • Manage installation crews, daily work assignments, labor utilization, and productivity.
  • Coordinate cranes, rigging, material handling equipment, trucking schedules, and site logistics.
  • Conduct daily planning meetings, safety briefings, and installation readiness reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Drive quality standards by verifying module readiness, installation workmanship, inspections, and punch-list completion.
  • Monitor KPIs including safety, schedule performance, labor productivity, quality, and rework reduction.
  • Train and develop installation personnel while promoting accountability, standard work, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Experience with modular construction, DfMA, prefabrication, data centers, MEP systems, or industrial projects is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and reporting tools.
Preferred Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's, Technical Certification, or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business Management, or a related field preferred.
