Job summary

Trinity Solar in Pittsburgh is seeking an Installation Crew Leader to oversee the installation of residential solar systems, combining hands-on work with crew oversight to ensure safety, efficiency, and top quality.

As a Crew Leader, you will guide the installation of modules, racking, and equipment, provide technical direction to the crew, document installations with photos, and communicate with customers, inspectors, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of solar installation, electrical, or related construction experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with comfort using tools, climbing ladders, and working at heights for extended periods.
• Ability to kneel, crouch, and lift/move 40-50 lbs. regularly in varying outdoor conditions.
• Proven ability to lead by example, motivate team members, and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
• Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have reliable attendance and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Compensation

$30 - $35 / hour
