Job summary

Express Flooring is seeking an Installation Coordinator to manage scheduling, coordination, and communication for residential flooring installations through our vendor network. You will review project details, coordinate timelines, and work with customers, installers, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time and to Express Flooring standards.

This fast-paced, hands-on role requires organization, exceptional communication, and problem-solving.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of customer service or customer support experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication with customers, installers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-solving skills and adaptability.
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, or project tracking software preferred.
• Team-oriented mindset with commitment to customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
• Forklift certification or prior forklift experience.

Job description

As an Installation Coordinator at Express Flooring, you’ll play a key role in managing the scheduling, coordination, and communication of residential flooring installation projects through our contracted vendor network. You’ll review project details, coordinate installation timelines, and work closely with customers, installers, and internal teams to ensure every project is completed efficiently, on time, and to Express Flooring standards.

This is a fast-paced, hands‑on role for someone who thrives on organization, communication, and problem-solving. If you enjoy staying organized, solving problems, and working collaboratively in a fast-moving environment, you’ll fit right in.

Job Type: Full-Time; In-Person
Compensation: $25-27/hour

What You’ll Do

• Coordinate installation schedules, customer appointments, and contractor timelines
• Support the scheduling, dispatching, tracking, and completion of projects in a timely and professional manner
• Communicate with installers, customers, and contractors to keep projects on track and quickly resolve issues
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project notes, customer records, and installation details
• Build strong relationships with contractors and customers to help deliver a seamless installation experience
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with staging materials for crew loadouts
• Support the loading and unloading of materials and trucks as needed
• Track project performance and assist with daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting
• Provide cross-functional support to internal teams when needed
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout every stage of the project

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of customer service or customer support experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with customers, installers, contractors, and internal teams
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt quickly when issues arise
• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accurate records and attention to detail
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, or project tracking software preferred
• A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer-based systems
• Forklift certification or prior forklift experience

Physical Requirements

Full compensation packages are based on candidate experience and relevant certifications.
