Job summary

CHUTES International is seeking a reliable installation technician for in-field installations of internal chutes and related equipment. The role involves physical labor, including carrying materials and navigating construction sites. An ideal candidate will have basic tool skills and a positive attitude, ensuring efficient installations. Preferred qualifications include construction experience and safety certifications. The position is mainly local within MD-DC-VA, with some travel and overtime expected.

Job description

In-field installations of internal chutes, compactors, loading dock equipment & postal specialties. Most installations are local (MD-DC-VA), but there is some out-of-town work.

Essential Functions

• Meeting the install team at the shop on time, as scheduled.
• Assisting with the installation of materials, as directed by the supervisor.
• Physical labor – walking/standing, climbing stairs (multiple stories), carrying materials to install (up to 80 lbs.).
• Availability for some travel and overtime work.
• Basic use of hand tools.
• Safely navigating construction jobsites.
