Job summary

Allegion installs and services Stanley Access Technologies equipment in Middletown, CT. You will perform installation or service work, maintain records, and stay current with equipment changes and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, ability to lift 75-100 lbs, and strong oral and written communication. Flexibility to work nights and weekends is expected.

• Stay updated on changes to Stanley equipment and ANSI 156.10 standards.
• Keep manuals current and manage inventory and tools.
• Present neat appearance and professional workmanship per policy.
• Test equipment before leaving site and perform safety checks.
• Maintain good customer relations and assist peers with methods.

Install Technician – Stanley Access Technologies, Middletown, CT

Pay: $3,000 Bonus Upon Completion of AAADM Certification

What You Will Do:

• Perform installation or service work as designated in profitable and proper manner.
• Record productive time versus travel time.
• Perform preventive maintenance work in accordance with service program designated for specific customer.
• Maintain accurately all work records and parts used at each job in accordance with established procedure.
• Keep updated on all changes/modifications to Stanley equipment and Ansi156.10 standard as notified through published communications.
• Keep manuals and all details up to date as changes are advised.
• Maintain company vehicles, tools and other property in proper manner.
• Present neat and clean appearance personally and in workmanship, in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain adequate parts inventory for service vehicle; keep inventory log.
• Test equipment before leaving job site; perform safety check.
• Maintain good customer relations and customer service.
• Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.

What You Need to Succeed:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
• Ability to lift 75-100lbs.
• Excellent Oral & Written communication skills.
• Sitting while driving for periods of time up to 2 hours but not limited to.
• Standing on concrete for periods of time up to 8 hours but not limited to.
• Stooping, Crouching, Kneeling, Crawling, and twisting spine occasionally.
• Vision not limited to near, far or colors.
• Ability to work in various climates.
• Flexible work schedule is a must with the ability to work nights and/or weekends as necessary.

Additional Preferred Skills & Knowledge:

• Associates Degree in related electrical, mechanical, industrial field.
• Prior experience in the construction industry or electrical field.
• Prior experience servicing automated doors, glazing, installing glass, installing door frames, building door frames, reading blueprints, AAADM Certification
