Job summary

Leonard’s Syrups is seeking an Installation and Service Technician to install, service, and repair beverage and ice equipment at client locations. You will configure soda dispensers, CO2 systems, and taps, train staff, and troubleshoot on-site or remotely. A valid driver's license, strong customer service, and ability to work independently are essential.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred but not required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities for client interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple service calls.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
  • Basic computer skills and comfort using a tablet for records.
  • Physical stamina to lift heavy equipment and perform field work.
  • DTOT medical card or ability to pass DOT physical if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Install, set up, configure or remove soda dispensers, taps, CO2 systems, and ice machines.
  • Conduct on-site visits to assess installation requirements and plan equipment placement.
  • Test and audit installed equipment to ensure proper functionality and quality.
  • Provide training to clients and staff on operation, cleaning, and maintenance.
  • Respond to service calls and diagnose issues remotely or on-site.
  • Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, sanitizing, and adjustments.
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
  • Coordinate with parts crib to order replacements and schedule repairs.
  • Maintain on-vehicle inventory and accurate service records via tablet.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and health regulations in beverage equipment service.

Shared Service TechnicianLeonard’s Syrups is a family owned and operated business that employs over one hundred employees. We have been in business since 1964, starting with manufacturing Soda syrups and continuing to grow the company by adding services which are related to this core competency. These other services include installing and Servicing bar equipment, servicing the soda systems, and supporting our customers with CO2 to use for their systems.Job OverviewAs an Installation and Service Technician specializing in soda, beer, CO2, and ice machines, nitro serve systems, etc. you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing beverage and ice equipment at client locations. You will ensure that installations are completed efficiently and that machines are operating effectively to meet client expectations.
