Job summary

Hunter Douglas Retail Lead Network has an opportunity for an experienced Install Technician in Fort Wayne, IN to handle interior window treatments installation on a 1099 contractor basis. You will schedule appointments, measure for custom products, receive and inspect shipments, and professionally represent our retail partners to ensure top‑quality results.

• Experience and proven measuring skills.
• Extensive experience installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters.
• Experience installing drapery and other soft treatments.
• Leaves positive and lasting impressions.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills; emails, printing, scanning, downloading/uploading to website.
• Currently possess or willing to obtain liability insurance.
• Possess all applicable state and local licenses.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate installation appointments with customers.
• When requested, conduct complex measurements for products; including shutters.
• Receive product at your location and verify condition.
• Professionally represent HD RLN and our retail partners.

Schedule and coordinate installation appointment with our customer

• Receive product at your location and verify that all product has arrived in good condition


• Professionally represent HD RLN and our retail partners


• Resolve issues while continuing to provide excellent customer service
