Position Description

This position is responsible for supporting and assisting with the on-site installation and removal of medical imaging systems, which includes packing, lifting and pushing the systems in and out of the warehouse and on-site securely.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the team leader with the on-site installation and removal of medical imaging systems. This includes placing the system on dollies, and pushing the system in and out of the building and on to a truck packed securely.
• Unloading and loading trucks, for warehouse pick-ups and deliveries
• Observe and assist with trailer refurbishment and trailer upgrades
• Support and assist with staging of MR/CT machines in the warehouse at NIS
• Performs warehouse functions, provided by the manager, including but not limited to, disinfecting, cleaning, crating, packing, etc.
• Responsible for moving anything within the warehouse with the use of forklifts or pallet jacks.
• Must be able to push/pull/lift heavy equipment
• Maintain proper housekeeping standards
• Any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred

• Some college preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years or more of warehouse experience preferred
• Mechanically inclined preferred
• Able to operate a forklift or to be certified to operate a forklift within 8 weeks of hire

Travel

• Valid driver's license and solid driving record for a minimum of five years REQUIRED
• Must have reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance
• Opportunity to travel up to 75% of the time with overnight travel including overtime
• Willing and able to undertake after-hours travel to carrier offices, drop-boxes, and airports
