Job summary

The Publish Press seeks a Social Media Manager to own Taylor Bell’s Instagram presence in New York. You will plan, edit, caption, schedule, and publish content that reflects Taylor’s voice and brand across Reels, Stories, and posts.

Ideal candidates understand creator-led branding, can edit short-form video and photos, and are organized, proactive, and open to feedback to shape the feed and growth strategy.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Instagram, including Reels, Stories, carousels, feed strategy, and scheduling.
• Strong visual taste and understanding of personal branding.
• Experience managing social media for a creator, founder, or personality.
• Ability to edit short-form video and photos.
• Strong writing skills and ability to learn Taylor’s voice.
• Organized, reliable, and comfortable taking initiative.
• Open to receiving and implementing detailed feedback.

Responsibilities

• Manage Taylor’s Instagram content calendar and posting schedule.
• Ideate posts, carousels, Reels, and Stories across business, lifestyle, travel, and other parts of Taylor’s life.
• Track what’s working and use those learnings to inform future content.
• Stay current on Instagram trends, formats, and platform changes.
• Turn batches of photos and videos from Taylor into ready-to-post content.
• Edit photos and curate and sequence carousels.
• Edit Reels and other short-form videos.
• Write captions in Taylor’s voice (Taylor will adjust / approve).
• Help shape the overall look and feel of Taylor’s Instagram.
• Schedule and publish content across Taylor’s Instagram.
• Maintain a consistent posting cadence.
• Over time, help manage Stories and more real-time posting.
