Job summary

North Clackamas Parks and Recreation District (NCPRD) is seeking dynamic part-time, temporary instructors to develop and lead recreational and enrichment classes at Concord Community Center. Classes may cover dance, STEM, nature, and other subjects, indoors or outdoors, with evening and weekend availability emphasized.

The role focuses on designing engaging curricula, creating inclusive environments, and ensuring safe, effective instruction for all ages while supporting community programming

Qualifications

• Knowledge of theory, principles and practices of instructing youth and/or adults in a recreational/enrichment subject
• Demonstrated skills and experience within your instructional subject
• Availability to teach evening and weekend classes, with some daytime availability depending on age group served

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver age-appropriate curriculum based on current best practices
• Create a welcoming, encouraging environment
• Lead safe, engaging group classes and demonstrate proper use of materials
