Cadence Education is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team. If you love working with young children and have experience in childcare or early childhood education, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact daily.

Under the direction of the School Director and Lead Teacher, you will support daily classroom operations, maintain safety and licensing compliance, and help deliver Cadence Signature Programs.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Experience in an early childhood or group care setting preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred but not required if state licensing requirements are met.
• Must meet state licensing qualifications for a Teacher in a licensed childcare center.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, inclusive classroom environment with dignity and care.
• Greet children and families daily and build welcoming relationships.
• Assist in recognizing and responding to individual developmental and learning needs, including following IEPs and behavioral plans as directed.
• Support Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and Cadence Signature Programs.
• Communicate professionally with families, coworkers, and leadership using Cadence-approved tools.
• Follow Safety and Supervision Manual, documenting and reporting accidents per policy.
• Assist in managing, documenting, and escalating child behaviors per Cadence policies.
• Adhere to all Cadence Education policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development, possibly outside regular hours.
