Qualifications

• EEC Preschool Teacher Certification, CDA, or equivalent degree and experience (required)
• Daycare experience in a center-based, private, or public school setting
• Energetic approach to learning with a positive attitude
• Curiosity, creativity, and a strong team-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with your co-teacher to prepare curriculum, lesson plans, and materials
• Support social-emotional growth, early literacy, and school-readiness through play-based activities
• Keep parents informed and build positive relationships with children and families
• Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly classroom environment
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, outdoor time, and naptime
• Track children's progress and complete required assessments
• Maintain EEC-required professional development hours and PQ registry
• Help children build independence, language, and problem-solving skills for kindergarten readiness
