Uncommon Schools seeks a Middle School Science teacher to join a grade-level team and deliver an NGSS-aligned science program focused on inquiry, discourse, and student engagement. The role emphasizes fostering student curiosity and supporting socio-emotional development in urban settings.

You will collaborate with instructional coaches, attend weekly meetings, and contribute to a positive school culture while building strong relationships with students and families.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or related field required.
• Experience with NGSS-aligned teaching and inquiry-based learning preferred.
• NJ teacher certification eligible per state requirements (not prerequisite).

Responsibilities
