Responsibilities

• Create a positive, safe, student-centered classroom environment.
• Utilize effective teaching strategies to advance student achievement.
• Use various assessments to evaluate student learning and shape instruction.
• Provide progress reports as required and maintain accurate records.
• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with district goals and curriculum.
• Collaborate with staff, communicate with parents, and participate in conferences.
• Supervise students and maintain classroom order.
• Prepare lesson plans and provide substitute teachers with adequate plans.
