Qualifications

• Current PA Certification in appropriate subject area required.
• Additional PA teaching certifications preferred.
• Commitment to urban education and high academic standards.
• Strong content knowledge and ability to teach standards-based curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily engaging instruction to students in large group, small group, and one-on-one settings.
• Reviewing and analyzing student data daily to inform instruction and planning.
• Preparing and submitting lesson plans on a weekly basis.
• Maintaining a positive classroom culture and upholding school rules and expectations.
• Communicating with parents and students via phone, email, or in person.
• Collaborating with SPED teachers to modify lessons and accommodations.
