CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified MS Music-Orchestra Teacher LTS at Thompson Middle School for 9/24 - 11/6/2026 (anticipated). Applicants must hold an active Illinois PEL, SUB, or Paraprofessional license with a bachelor's degree and complete a fingerprint background check.

Two letters of reference are required, and Short Term Substitute Licenses are not accepted by D303. District 303’s Substitute Team will administer the selection process and onboarding details are posted on the District website.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Illinois PEL, SUB, or Paraprofessional License with a bachelor's degree.
• Fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE required.
• Two letters of reference required.
• Short Term Substitute Teaching Licenses are not accepted in D303.

Responsibilities

• Provide MS music/orchestra instruction as part of Thompson Middle School.
• Serve on the District 303 Substitute Team and cover assignments from 9/24 to 11/6/2026.
• Coordinate with building administration and music staff as needed.
