Job summary

CUSD 303 is seeking a qualified candidate as a MS Music-Orchestra Teacher LTS at Thompson Middle School for the period 9/24/2026 to 11/06/2026, anticipated, in the 26-27 school year. The successful candidate will join the District 303 Substitute Team and must hold an Illinois PEL, SUB, or Paraprofessional License with a bachelor’s degree.

Applicants must provide two letters of reference and undergo a fingerprint-based background check from Kane County ROE.

Qualifications

• Valid and active Illinois Professional Teaching License (PEL) or Illinois Substitute Teaching License (SUB) or Paraprofessional License with bachelor’s degree.
• Two letters of reference required.
• Fingerprint-based background check from the Kane County ROE must be provided.

Responsibilities

• Teach middle school music/orchestra as a Long-Term Substitute at Thompson Middle School.
• Work as part of the Substitute Team and follow the Substitute Handbook.
