Qualifications

• Ability to teach and develop curriculum for assigned grade level(s).

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials in line with Michigan objectives and school curriculum goals.
• Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction.
• Encourage and monitor progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Help students who are behind or struggling to learn content.
• Collaborate with other teachers to develop lesson plans and improve learning.
• Communicate with students and parents regarding progress and needs.
• Establish clear objectives for all learning activities.
• Manage student behavior in the classroom and maintain discipline per school rules.
