Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, History, Education, or a related field required.
• Master’s degree preferred; Special Education background strongly valued.
• Experience teaching high school English Language Arts and/or Social Studies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach high school English Language Arts and Social Studies courses
• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with students and families
• Collaborate with colleagues to support student growth and program development
• Incorporate experiential and interdisciplinary learning opportunities into the curriculum
• Assess student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff
