• Define goals and objectives for unit and daily plans.

• Sequence content and activities appropriately.
• Revise plans based on student needs and progress.
• Plan and prepare lessons and instructional strategies aligned to the school improvement plan.
• Select and adapt materials to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
• Establish and maintain a clean, positive, organized, and safe classroom.
• Provide a positive environment encouraging student engagement.
• Establish routines and use effective behavior management techniques.
• Maintain instructional momentum with smooth transitions.
• Establish testing environments and ensure test security.
• Maintain accurate record keeping and input of grades.
• Manage time, materials, and equipment effectively and safely.
• Instruct and supervise volunteers and aides when assigned.
