Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or higher; Master's preferred.
• Valid Florida Educator's Certificate with endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• Highly qualified under NCLB guidelines.
• Satisfactory criminal background check.
• ESOL endorsement/certification preferred.
• Valid Florida Driver's License and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a role model for students with professional dress and conduct.
• Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate to students' maturity.
• Establish high standards and expectations for all students' behavior.
• Supervise students and consistently enforce classroom rules.
• Assist students in taking responsibility and demonstrating respect for people and property.
• Maintain accurate attendance and behavior records and report to administration.
