Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools seeks an Elementary Teacher to develop coursework and deliver instruction that supports an exemplary program for all students at the elementary level. You will create lesson plans, differentiate instruction, and assess student progress to inform instruction.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, staff, and families, while maintaining a safe, engaging classroom environment and participating in district meetings and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and Colorado teaching credentials required.
Colorado teaching license and K-6 endorsement required.
Student teaching or practicum meeting state requirements.

Responsibilities

Instruct students in large, small, and one-on-one settings daily.
Develop and implement lesson content, plans, and schedules aligned with standards.
Administer, edit, and grade assignments and assessments daily.
Design diverse assessment tasks and use results to inform instruction.
Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behavior daily.
Monitor student progress and document academic, social, and emotional development.
Communicate student progress and needs with families and staff as needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to improve instruction and outcomes daily.
Participate in department and district meetings and professional growth activities.
Perform other duties as assigned daily.
