Responsibilities

• Plan goals and objectives for each class; diagnose class needs and tailor activities accordingly.
• Conduct classes with poise and professional behavior; use suitable materials and methods.
• Maintain active records of pupil assessment, growth, and achievement; provide progress information to students and parents.
• Consult with supervisor as needed and complete reports and information requests on time.
• Be present for duties as required by the negotiated agreement and prepare substitute plans as needed.
• Stay current with educational methods and participate in professional activities to improve curricula and programs.
• Foster parent/community relations and collaborate with colleagues to support student learning.
