Job summary

TrulyHired is seeking an Exceptional Children's Teacher to provide special education services under supervision. The role involves developing and implementing IEPs, adapting materials to meet students’ developmental levels, and monitoring progress to achieve IEP goals.

Qualifications

Degree in special education and valid state certification or eligibility for provisional licensure.
Experience developing and implementing IEPs and related documentation.
Ability to monitor progress and maintain compliant records.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements IEPs for students with disabilities; updates as needed.
Develops instructional plans aligned with curricular goals and IEPs.
Provides direct, individualized instruction to meet student needs.
Maintains student records and adheres to state and federal guidelines.
Monitors behavior, maintains discipline, and de-escalates when necessary; records restraints when used.
