Job summary

You will maintain IEPs, progress reports, and comply with state and federal regulations while delivering inclusive instruction, coordinating with inclusionary practices, and supporting teachers with accommodations and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• State Certified in Special Education with HQ status in the assigned subject areas.
• Certification in at least two areas of Exceptional Education is preferred.
• Background checks (criminal and employment) are required.
• Strong instructional delivery and communication skills are essential.
• Minimum of three years of successful teaching experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SIS, and email communications.
• Commitment to best practices and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and conduct Parent and student conferences.
• Deliver instruction in modalities including co-teaching and planned programs.
• Collect data and appropriate work samples.
• Plan and conduct parent appointments as needed.
• Assist regular education teachers with specially designed instruction.
• Provide inclusionary practices and support for EC/ SPED students.
• Maintain IEPs, quarterly reports, and Progress Monitoring data.
• Proctor standardized tests and complete progress reports.
