Job summary

LifeWise Academy seeks an enthusiastic teacher to share the gospel with public school students in a classroom setting. The ideal candidate is an active church participant with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, caring and perceptive, proficient in teaching children.

Responsibilities include training, lesson planning with LifeWise curriculum, record-keeping, classroom maintenance, and regular communication with school personnel and volunteers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of classroom teaching experience in school or church settings.
• Active participation in a local church aligned with LifeWise beliefs.
• Mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Complete Initial and Ongoing Training, including LifeWise Teacher Certification within 30 days.
• Teach LifeWise Classes using LifeWise curriculum and engage students.
• Maintain attendance records and class rosters with health and permission details.
• Keep a clean, organized classroom and manage emergencies as needed.
• Communicate with school personnel, volunteers, and program director; promote LifeWise mission.
