Job summary

Right At School in Trafford, PA, is seeking an Educator to support before- and after-school programs. You will create safe, engaging activities and nurture a love of learning in a fun, structured environment for children.

Program hours are 7:00 AM–9:00 AM and 3:25 PM–6:00 PM, with pay between $15.00 and $18.00 per hour based on education and experience. Ideal candidates bring at least one year of childcare experience and a passion for healthy living.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years old.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Drive to inspire a love of learning and commitment to healthy living.
• Flexibility to support additional local programs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Daily Program Meetings: review goals, share ideas, and encourage collaboration.
• Organize and facilitate daily activities and curriculum aligned with objectives; lead structured daily fitness and educational activities.
• Leading by example: maintain a safe, nurturing environment and positive classroom management.
• Prioritize safety and joy; monitor environment and follow safety protocols; document attendance and incidents.
• Effective communication with children, parents, staff, and school personnel.
