Chattanooga Christian School (CCS) is seeking a dedicated Lower School 3rd Grade Long-Term Substitute to provide consistent classroom instruction during a teacher's leave of absence. This temporary role supports students in 3rd grade, maintaining routines and engaging lessons while collaborating with staff to ensure continuity of learning.

The position begins in late January or early February 2027 and ends before the school year concludes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to exercise discretion and handle confidential student matters with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Plans and delivers instruction in alignment with curriculum and grade-level expectations.
• Maintains classroom routines and positive learning environment.
• Communicates with parents/guardians about student progress and classroom matters.
• Collaborates with grade-level colleagues and staff to ensure continuity of instruction.
• Performs supervisory duties during recess and lunch as assigned.
