Qualifications

• Three years of demonstrated, effective teaching experience in Science at related grade levels preferred.
• Ability to work effectively with a variety of learners.
• Experience in the use of technology for instruction.
• Ability to communicate graciously and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to exercise discretion and utmost professionalism in confidential and sensitive student/family matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic instruction in upper school Science classes (Earth Science 7 Honors and Earth Science for 7–12).
• Engage students at their point of need and use appropriate instructional strategies.
• Assess student learning formatively and summatively.
• Create a conducive learning environment that supports spiritual, physical, and social development.
