Sylvania is seeking enthusiastic qualified individuals to coach our middle school football program for the Fall 2026 season in Saint Peter, Minnesota. Two openings are available for capable coaches to help guide student-athletes through practice and game days.

The role emphasizes academics, safety, and adherence to MSHSL bylaws, with responsibilities across the 7-12 program and collaboration with community teams.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Football is required.
• An appreciation for academics and the role of academics in the life of student-athletes
• Playing and coaching experience
• An understanding of the MSHSL bylaws
• Ability to work with all age levels
• Ability to work with club and community teams
• Ability to work with all experience levels
• Ability to work within the overall 7-12 program and expecations from the head coach
• Provide a fun and safe environment for students to participate and learn

Responsibilities

• Coach middle school football during the fall season.
• Create a fun and safe learning environment for student-athletes.
• Coordinate with athletic staff and meet program expectations.
