Sylvania is seeking a Head Coach for the Middle School Boys' Basketball Varsity team. The Head Coach will organize and promote an athletic program, fostering a positive learning environment and serving as a role model for students.

Key responsibilities include managing practices, supervising athletes, ensuring compliance with regulations, and modeling sportsmanship. Candidates should have knowledge in the sport, preferably with previous coaching experience.

• MPCS staff preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize meetings for team prospects and encourage participation.
• Assess players' skills and assign team positions.
• Develop a practice schedule for individual and team development.
• Monitor team members' academic performance to ensure eligibility.
• Ensure compliance with regulations for PWCS Middle School Athletics.

Skills

Knowledge and background in assigned sport

Previous coaching experience in assigned sport
