Qualifications

• Must have one of the following credential paths: BA/BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography; or BA in any field with an AS/AA in Diagnostic Medical Sonography with a certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography; or an AS/AA in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Medical Imaging with seven years of registered sonographer experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for and deliver instruction and teaching activities.
• Manage the classroom and laboratory environments.
• Develop and revise curriculum; support program/department evaluation.
• Manage equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Assess student performance and provide advising on academic issues.
• Collaborate with advisory committees and participate in departmental/ institutional meetings.
• Promote program activities and assist in recruiting and retaining students.
• Maintain professional development and teaching standards.
