Iredell-Statesville Schools is seeking an Elementary Classroom Teacher to support student success by implementing district curricula, assessing progress, and fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment in Statesville, NC.

Under the supervision of the principal, you will plan lessons, monitor progress, communicate with families, and collaborate with grade-level colleagues to continually improve instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• State Certification as an Elementary Teacher is required.
• Certification in the appropriate grade level preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develops and administers elementary curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Creates a safe, conducive learning environment for individualized and small group instruction.
• Plans lessons and instructional materials to maximize instructional time.
• Assesses student learning and modifies instruction to fit individual needs.
• Instructs students in responsible citizenship and other subjects per laws and district procedures.
• Keeps accurate records of progress, grades, and attendance.
• Communicates effectively with students, parents, and administration.
• Coordinates with grade-level staff and participates in meetings and committees.
• Administers standardized tests per district programs.
