Qualifications

• Certification/License: North Carolina Certification as a Middle School Teacher.
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsabilités

• Develops and administers middle school curriculum aligned with district goals.
• Maintains a safe, optimal learning environment for individualized and small group instruction.
• Plans lessons and translates plans into engaging learning experiences.
• Assesses student learning and adapts instruction to meet diverse needs.
• Teaches citizenship and subject matter per laws and district regulations.
• Pursues ongoing professional learning through seminars or research.
• Maintains records of grading, attendance, and student progress as required.
• Encourages parental involvement and communicates progress to families.
• Ensures student conduct meets school policies and standards.
• Collaborates with grade-level and subject teams on curriculum and meetings.
• Selects suitable books and instructional materials and maintains inventory.
• Supervises students during activities including transportation-related events.
• Administers standardized tests per district programs.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Principal and central office.
