Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of district standards, curriculum, and assessment practices.

Responsibilities

• Develops and administers school elementary curriculum aligned with district goals and objectives.
• Promotes a safe classroom environment conducive to individual and small-group instruction.
• Creates lesson plans and instructional materials for efficient use of instructional time.
• Assesses student learning and adjusts instruction to meet individual needs, including students with special needs.
• Administers standardized tests and maintains records of student progress and attendance.
• Engages with parents to support student learning and progress.
• Coordinates with teachers to evaluate and improve curriculum and participates in faculty meetings.
