Job summary

PROAMPAC in Fort Worth, TX is hiring for a Warehouse Operator on 2nd shift to safely operate equipment, read and follow instructions, and ensure accurate packaging and material handling.

The role requires the ability to inspect material, maintain neat work areas, document movements, and work with supervision across teams. Prior warehouse or shipping experience is preferred, with proficiency in MS Office. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and work orders.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure.
• Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Maintain strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment as needed including forklift with attachments, packaging/wrapping machinery, label equipment, banders, gluers, etc.
• Ability to receive and maintain equipment certification if applicable.
• Accurately read and follow instructions.
• Inspect material to ensure customer specifications have been met.
• Package outgoing materials to meet customer specifications and internal protocols.
• Move material within facility according to protocol, may include weighing, scanning, stacking, transporting & arranging.
• Keep work and surrounding areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging and cleanliness requirements.
• Verification and tracking of all material moved including quantity, size, and packaging.
• Complete all necessary documents for internal or external use.
• Works with supervision.
• Maybe required to work in multiple areas or with multiple teams.
• All other duties as assigned.
