Job summary

ProAmpac in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a warehouse associate for 2nd shift. You will safely operate equipment, receive and package materials, and maintain organized work areas to meet customer specifications.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to read and follow instructions, and effective communication. The position involves handling and moving materials, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with multiple teams to ensure smooth production and shipping processes.

Qualifications

• Prior equipment, shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence and work orders.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure.
• Solid working knowledge of warehouse processes and related manufacturing.
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), email and calendar capabilities.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and protects privacy of confidential/sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate equipment such as forklift, packaging/wrapping machinery, label equipment and banders.
• Inspect material to ensure customer specifications have been met.
• Package outgoing materials to meet customer specifications and internal protocols.
• Move material within facility according to protocol; may include weighing, scanning, stacking, transporting & arranging.
• Keep work areas organized by meeting housekeeping, storage, staging and cleanliness requirements.
• Verify and track all material moved including quantity, size, and packaging.
• Complete all necessary documents for internal or external use.
• Work with supervision; may work in multiple areas or teams.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Safely Operate equipment as needed including but not limited to motorized forklift with various attachments (clamp, fork, probe), packaging/wrapping machinery, label equipment, banders, gluers, etc.
• Ability to receive and maintain equipment certification if applicable.
• Accurately Read and follow instructions.
• Inspect material to ensure customer specifications have been met.
• Package outgoing materials to meet customer specifications and internal protocols.
• Move material within facility according to protocol, may include weighing, scanning, stacking, transporting & arranging.

The employee lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
