Job summary

Pretium Packaging's Cleveland, TN facility is seeking a dedicated Inspector Packer for the third shift 11:00pm–7:30am. This full-time, on-site role focuses on inspecting and packaging plastic products to meet quality standards and shipping readiness.

You will work with a team to ensure accurate labeling, proper sealing, and orderly work areas, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits. Qualifications include attention to detail and the ability to stand long shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing or packaging role preferred.
• Attention to detail and the ability to spot defects or inconsistencies.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
