Job summary

Pretium Packaging is seeking a Packer to inspect and package plastic products, ensuring quality and proper labeling. This full-time role offers competitive salary and comprehensive benefits in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will stand for long periods, monitor packaging materials, maintain a clean area, and communicate quality concerns with supervisors. Starting pay is $16 per hour with full benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging preferred.
• Ability to spot defects and maintain quality.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, team environment.
• Basic data entry and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
