Pretium Packaging in Aurora, IL is seeking a Packer to inspect and package plastic products, ensure quality, and prepare items for shipment. You will work on a fast-paced line and contribute to product integrity and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Basic computer/data-entry skills.
• Physical stamina to stand and lift heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects and quality.
• Package products according to specifications and seal properly.
• Label packages with product information and warnings as needed.
• Monitor production line efficiency and address packaging issues.
• Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
• Monitor inventory of packaging materials and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including housekeeping and disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
