Job summary

Westfall Technik, LLC in Elizabethtown, KY is hiring for Inspector/Packers to ensure parts meet quality standards and are packaged per customer specs. The role involves trimming and inspecting parts, accurate paperwork, and clear defect reporting.

We offer 12-hour shifts on a 3-2-2 rotation, day or night shifts, with a climate-controlled environment and comprehensive benefits. 17 USD per hour with shift differentials is provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for quality defects and verify conformance to specs.
• Trim and inspect parts per customer requirements.
• Count, organize and package parts per instructions.
• Complete shift paperwork per work instructions.
• Communicate defects or issues to Lead, Technician or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and work as a team.

We are currently seeking Inspector/Packers with the following qualifications:

Professional Attributes

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow standardized work instructions and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
• Ability to check parts for quality defects such as cracks and chip outs.
• Ability to trim and inspect parts as needed by customer specifications.
• Ability to count, organize and package parts per requirements.
• Ability to properly complete all shift paperwork per work instructions.
• Ability to communicate all part defects or problems regarding production issues to Lead, Technician, and/or Supervisor.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ability to work as a team.
• Other duties as assigned.
