Position Overview

The primary function of the Inspector/Packer is inspecting and packing bags to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line.
• Inspect and packet quality bags into box/tote per bag specifications.
• Ensure that box/tote counts are accurate as per bag specification.
• Maintain quality standards and report suspect or defective product for review.
• Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed.
• Practice 5S, Good Housekeeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards.
• Learn to pack all bag specifications on all machines in production facility.
• Complete all documentation completely and accurately.
• Assist in the training of other Inspector/Packer personnel.
• Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No previous experience required; on‑job training provided.
• Specific Skills: Attention to detail, ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Equipment & Machinery: Pallet jack.
• Computer Experience & Software: Basic computer skills.
