Easton Utilities is seeking a full-time Civil Inspector to perform construction inspections for Easton Utility projects in Easton, MD. The role requires ensuring compliance with specifications through field visits, contractor meetings, and daily follow-up.

Responsibilities include providing locating services and maintaining regular communications with the Manager of Engineering. Candidates must meet OSHA 30 hr requirements and obtain locator and inspector certifications within the stated

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have OSHA 30 hr General Industry and Construction courses.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Certified Locator within 12 months of hire.
• Certified Inspector within 24 months of hire.

Responsabilités

• Perform construction inspections for Easton Utility projects.
• Ensure all projects are constructed according to specifications through field visits, meetings with contractors and daily follow up.
• Ensure all private construction is built according to standards through actual inspections, tests, and site visits.
• Keep the Manager of Engineering current on all Easton Utilities public and private construction projects through regular meetings as well as ongoing communications.
• Provides locating services.
• Regular, reliable attendance is a requirement of this job.
