Job summary

Easton Utilities is seeking an Infrastructure Locator I to identify and locate underground facilities before planned or emergency excavations. You will mark utilities and coordinate with the Miss Utility center, updating distribution maps using AutoCAD and ESRI.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of related experience, with an on-call, full-time schedule and on-site responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum 3 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and locate underground facilities prior to planned or emergency excavation.
• Identify and mark electric, gas, water, sewer, communications, and storm drains for each location request.
• Coordinate with Locating Team to clear each request from Miss Utility to the requester.
• Update general distribution maps and records using AutoCAD and ESRI sketches.
• Assist Engineering Department staff with engineering functions as requested.
• Regular, reliable attendance is expected.
