Job summary

HMH is seeking a dimensional inspector in Houston to perform inspections with Romer or Faro arm CMMs and to read and interpret engineering drawings. You will document non-conformities, support HSSE projects, and work with a production schedule in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred candidates have stationary CMM experience and PC-DMIS, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently within a team. Must lift 30 lbs and maintain regular attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3+ years of dimensional inspection experience.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using Romer or Faro arm portable CMM equipment.
• Experience using mechanical measurement tools or hand tools.
• Preferred: stationary CMM equipment and PC-DMIS software.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Good basic math and PC skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, noisy environments.
• Experience with offshore drilling equipment (BOP/wellbore) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional inspections using Romer/Faro arm and CMM equipment.
• Inspect parts to drawings, interpret results and document findings.
• Identify and document product non-conformities.
• Support HSSE projects and continuous improvement.
• Lift at least 30 lbs and maintain attendance as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
