Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. is seeking a Construction Inspector to perform field inspection and testing tasks on projects in Texas. The role involves reviewing plans, measuring elevations, and ensuring compliance with codes and safety requirements.

• High school diploma or equivalent (may be substituted for experience).
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.

• Gather and maintain record documents.
• Make field notes and computations.

Job description

Pay range is $23-$35/hour. Salary range is based upon background, education, level of experience and project assignment.

Required Experience

• Client requested certifications preferred.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in the field. Ability to extensively perform bending, kneeling, standing, shoveling, and lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs as needed. Work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
